2026 Christmas Card Contest

Christmas is just around the corner, and Clarke-Washington EMC’s 2026 Christmas Card Contest is giving local students a chance to help create this year’s cooperative Christmas card! Students in grades 4-6 who live in Clarke, Washington, Wilcox or Monroe counties are invited to submit an original Christmas-themed design incorporating CWEMC and our 90th Anniversary celebration.

Designs can feature Willie Wirehand, bucket trucks, linemen, power lines, light bulbs, rural scenery or other cooperative-inspired elements. Artwork should be colorful, original and created on white 8½" x 11" paper.

Contest Details

• Deadline: 4 p.m., Thursday, November 12, 2026
• Eligible: Students in grades 4-6
• Artwork: Christmas-themed, original and in color
• Entry: One entry per child with a completed and signed entry form
• Submit: Mail entries or drop them off at CWEMC’s Jackson or Chatom office. Please do not fold artwork. 

Prizes

The overall winner will receive $100, 30 printed Christmas cards featuring the winning design, and have the artwork featured on CWEMC’s 2026 Christmas card. A winner from each grade will also receive $50, and all winners will be featured in the December issue of Alabama Living.
